Creating a strong password
You must choose or generate a password for your account on DORA.report that is at least:
- 12 characters long, that contains:
- lower case (a-z), upper case (A-Z) and numbers (0-9)
- special characters (
!@#$%^&*
)
Your password can’t contain personal data, such as your name
or email
.
To keep your account secure, we recommend you follow these best practices:
- Use a password manager to generate a password of at least 12 characters.
- Generate a unique password for DORA.report. If you use your DORA.report password elsewhere and that service is compromised, then attackers or other malicious actors could use that information to access your account.
- Optionally, add a passkey to your account to enable a secure, passwordless login. Learn more about passkeys..
- Never share your password, even with a potential collaborator. Each person should use their own personal account on DORA.report.
When you type a password to sign in, create an account, or change your password, DORA.report will check if the password you entered is part of the 10,000 most common passwords. DORA.report does not allow passwords that are part of the password dictionary.
